About the Artist
Focusing on the unpredictability of nature, Lisa Marie Sealey creates watercolour monotypes which combine spontaneity and delicacy. She is particularly inspired by the strong connection that women have with the natural world. She creates work which helps to raise awareness of the intelligence and magic of plant life. A lifelong passion for old fairy tale books also influences her work and brings an ethereal, dreamlike quality to her printmaking.
Lisa Marie has used these artworks to create a wallpaper collection. She aims to reconnect people with the natural world and to bring a sense of peace and relaxation.
